Ted Williams vintage autographed miniature card display one of a kind READ

  

This offering is likely a one-of-a-kind collectible. Before the opening of the show Ted signed items for the dealers in attendance. The display consists of 16 miniature reproductions of Ted Williams' most vintage and valuable cards, plus what looks to be a reproduction of a short article written shortly after Williams signed his first contract with the Red Sox when he was 20 years of age.

Williams' signature is on the article. The cards and article are affixed to the wooden base by a clear acrylic piece that is firmly pinned to the base.

The miniature card reproductions are bright, colorful and of high quality. The collections include sports cards, autographs, photos, western (cowboy) stars' photos & autographs, comic books (westerns mainly) and other classes of items. Some items are scarce, with some others likely being one of a kind. Sports items are centered on the Red Sox (particularly Ted Williams) and Boston Celtics (particularly the 1956-57 Celtics team through the early 1960's teams).
