This card was originally hand signed by Ted Williams and released in 1992 Upper Deck packs, then bought back by Upper Deck to be released in 2002 SP Legendary Cuts. It was affixed with a tamper-proof hologram by Upper Deck upon rerelease. Upper Deck issued 9 buybacks in 2002 Legendary Cuts. This is the only one graded BGS 9.5 GEM MINT (none higher) with a perfect 10 autograph.

It is authenticated by Upper Deck and comes with the original certificate of authenticity that came in the pack with hologram and matching number. Autograph is bold and blue.
